About the RoleAs a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service by understanding their unique needs and recommending the best insurance solutions. Your ability to think on your feet, develop creative solutions, and communicate clearly will help us maintain strong customer relationships and grow our business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide accurate information about State Farm products
  • Identify and recommend insurance products that best fit customers’ needs and circumstances
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally
  • Collaborate closely with a small team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in and follow our established sales processes when necessary
  • Pivot existing customers toward appropriate products and proactively solicit prospects
  • Be willing to cold call potential customers when necessary
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new products, processes, and technology
Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid Ohio Property and Casualty license or willing to obtain
  • Must hold a valid Ohio Life and Health license willing to obtain
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Smart, quick thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently
  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in various sales and customer management computer programs
  • Willingness to actively participate in sales processes and meet sales goals
  • Ability to pivot current customers and effectively solicit new prospects
  • Comfortable making cold calls when necessary
  • Ability to work well within a small team environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow
  • Prior customer service experience is a plus but not required
